Effect of Spraying with Glycine on the Productive and Morphological Characteristics of Two Strawberry Cultivars Under Greenhouse Conditions

Abstract The experiment was carried out in one of the greenhouses belonging to research station Department Horticulture and Landscape gardening at College Agriculture / University Diyala for agricultural season 2020/2021 as a factorial with two factors, first using four concentrations glycine, which are 0, 50, 100, 150 mg L -1 second factor strawberry varieties Camarose Albion, according design randomized complete block three replications, number experimental units reached 24. results were analyzed SAS program averages tested Duncan’s polynomial test probability level 0.05. showed that spraying amino acid glycine superior concentration (G 4 ) by giving highest values fruits their weight, plant yield, content ascorbic anthocyanin pigment, acidity 16.31 fruits, 14.10 gm, 232.00 gm , 36.48 100 g 25.13 100g 0.76%, respectively. Also Camarosa cultivar (V 1 significantly yield 16.60 216.83 while Albion 2 percentage TSS 7.38%,34.16 0.77% As treatment interaction G V (concentration ), it exceeded weight yield. had acid, achieved best pigment fruits.
